Image
A joyous Peranakan Association gathering in Malacca in 2012. Photography using Canon EOS 90. Since I used only "P" Mode, the photos are not sharp or good. But I had a career and no time to acquire new skills.

May 5, 2018 Much more knowledge can be acquired by reading photography magazines.  For example, Amateur Photography  Dec 2, 2017 Technique: Capture the supermoon http://www.andrewfusekpeters.com/moon Kit List 1.  Long lens  300mm and above. This is where APS-C or Micro Four Thirds come in useful 2.  PhotoPills app  - moon rise times, milky way star trail shoots. visit photopills.com 3. Warm clothes 4. Raw processing software. The moon is incredibly bright. Software bring back detail from the highlights and bring up shadows for a perfect supermoon photo. My moon images at 7am  May 5, 2018 (Saturday)  using Canon EOS 90D and lens up to 250 mm are not sharp, as I don't have the skills or equipped lens 5am  May 5, 2018

7. PHOTOGRAPHY: TRAVELS MYANMAR - 2011 travel by Dr David Sing

Image
Travel photos were taken with Canon EOS 80D. Not very sharp as my skills in 2011 were limited to the using of "P" Mode.  I had not gone into the details of using Aperture Priority (AV Mode) or Shutter Priority (TV Mode) or Manual Mode. It takes many years till 2022 to get a better camera and to use AV or TV or Manual Modes. Younger people may take a shorter time if they are interested in technology.
